Premium chest strap HRM Run offers special training functions; of it the determination of the current fitness level by measn of a VO2max (max. oxygen capacity) calculation. In general, the VO2max is the best criterion for evaluating the (stamina) performance of an athlete. It indicates how much oxygen a person can absorb at max under load. An increase in VO2max is the target of each training.
Based on the VO2max., the Garmin GPS runner watch Forerunner 620 incl. Premium chest strap HRM Run calculates the currently possible record for a 5/10 km run, half marathon or marathon, and the required regeneration time after a training. Furthermore, the Garmin FR620 motivates you by displaying the own VO2max value compared to other sportsmen of same age.
The running style is important
The Garmin Forerunner 620 is the first GPS running watch, giving feedback about the personal running style.
